All Foliage Season Packed with Events, Activities throughout Killington Region

KILLINGTON, Vermont -- Killington Resort provides the perfect venue to view the outstanding fall foliage colors from early-September through mid-October throughout Vermont's Central Green Mountains with events, activities and attractively-priced vacation packages.

From Rutland to Woodstock on Route 4 and Pittsfield to Ludlow on Route 100, Killington Resort is the epicenter of fall foliage in New England, providing the perfect mix of lodging and dining options and numerous opportunities to view the colors, including scenic drives and gondola rides.

A scenic ride on the K-1 Gondola to the highest lift-served terrain in Vermont offers an opportunity to view the foliage colors in the heart of the Green Mountains. In addition, the summit of KillingtonPeak, a short 10-minute hike from the top of the gondola, provides a panoramic view of five states and Canada on a crisp, clear autumn day.

To highlight the foliage season, the Killington Region is packed with family friendly fall activities and events, including:

Fall Foliage Gondola Rides The K-1 Gondola is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekends through September 26 and daily October 2 through 11. Killington Resort offers fall foliage lodging packages, including a roundtrip ride on the K-1 Gondola, starting at $45 per person/per night through October 11.
