Pico Mountain Holiday Giving Benefits Rutland and Killington Communities

Pico Mountain gave a free Pico Express card to any guest who donated over $20 to the United Way of Rutland County, VT. Throughout the weekend of Dec 18-20, Pico was able to collect $2,025 to give back to the community. In the past four years, Pico and Killington have donated more than $25,000 to the United Way. Additionally, Pico Mountain donated a either a free 'Learn-to' package or a free lift ticket to everyone who donated blood at the Red Cross's Gift of Life Marathon on Dec. 22, helping to collect 1,024 pints and break the single-day record for any blood drive in New England. "We are excited to be able to give back to the Rutland community, and thankful for the guests who donated and helped make the weekend successful," says Pat Ryan, Director of Sales, Marketing and Reservations. "We're always happy to be able to partner with the community, and we look forward to our next opportunity to do so."
