HIGHMOUNT, New York -- It's been an exciting preseason at Belleayre as Ward Todd, President of Ulster County's Chamber of Commerce, recently announced that Belleayre Mountain will be the recipient for the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce Tourism Business of the Year Award for 2009. This prestigious award will be presented for the first time to a New York State organization as an acknowledgment of Belleayre's value as a major part of the local economy. The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation will be on hand to proudly accept this award on Thursday, October 22 at the Wiltwyck Country Club in Kingston, NY. The Fifth Annual Ulster County Business awards will celebrate the positive efforts of county commerce proving the continued successful efforts that Belleayre has made generating valuable tourism dollars for private business in the region by focusing on providing affordable outdoor recreation to New Yorkers even throughout the recent economic downturn.

In celebration of receiving this award, Belleayre has created a new set of limited time pre-season promotions to get visitors excited for Opening Day anticipated to be November 14, weather permitting. These new offers are available immediately through November 13th and include $99 3-Packs, KidsCamp 6-Packs, and Tour Group 6-Packs.
The $99 3-Pack offers customers three anytime lift tickets for only $99, a savings of $63 on three adult lift tickets. The tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or at the Discovery Lodge during business hours; restrictions do apply and ID is required. 3-Packs are limited to one per household and are not available to households that have already purchased one of the 4-Packs for the 2009-2010 Season at the Belleayre Memorial Day Extravaganza or the 2009 Belleayre Fall Festival. For families, Belleayre's celebrated KidsCamp program is offering a 6-Pack of advanced reservations for the price of five, giving a sixth day of KidsCamp for free in return for booking five program days in advance. And Belleayre Mountain is perfect for tour groups and large parties and now is the time to line up winter plans for the best offers including the new Tour Group 6-Pack. For groups of 15 or more, the mountain is giving tour operators and private groups a great opportunity to purchase five trips, upfront, and receive a sixth trip for half-price.

For further details and conditions please see www.belleayre.com.

Belleayre Mountain is a year-round outdoor recreation area in the Catskill Mountains operated by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
