ALBANY, New York -- One of the nation's longest-running consumer snow and travel shows will return for a remarkable 48tt consecutive year to launch the winter sports season beginning Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 8 at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany, N.Y.
This year's Ski & Snowboard expo, presented by Alpin Haus, offers unprecedented values for winter sports enthusiasts, including the return of last year's inaugural "Free Lift Ticket Sunday."
On Sunday, November 8, the first 500 paid admissions through the door will each receive a free lift ticket to majestic Mount Snow in West Dover, Vermont (some restrictions may apply). With lift tickets for Mount Snow valued at more than $70 each, guests will receive nine times the return on the price of admission!
Overall, the Ski & Snowboard expo will feature more than 100 exhibitor booths offering a comprehensive look at the newest in winter sporting equipment, fashion and travel in a convenient, one-stop browsing and shopping environment.
The industry's top mountains and resorts from throughout the Northeast, West and Canada will be represented at the three-day event that will include free prizes and merchandise, and interactive, family-friendly activities, such as a mobile skate park and Wii Skiing. There will also be the traditional array of auctions, previously used equipment sales, workshops and seminars.
Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for youth ages 7-12. Children age six and under are free with a paid adult.
With each paid admission, visitors to the expo receive a coupon book (while supplies last) worth hundreds of dollars in discounts on winter ski apparel and equipment and on lift tickets to several ski resorts.
The 48th annual Ski & Snowboard expo will take place at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany, NY, on Friday, November 6 from 4 p.m.
