Festive Fun February Events at Cranmore Mountain

NORTH CONWAY, New Hampshire -- Cranmore Mountain, North Conway's hometown ski resort, will be home to the most events and activities in Mount Washington Valley for the month of February, especially during the President's Day school vacation period.

Three of Cranmore's signature Cranapalooza events will feature fireworks at 7:30pm; Feb. 14, 18 and 21st. "It's a unique experience, being able to ski, ride or snowtube at night under the fireworks," stated Cranmore general manager, Ben Wilcox. "Even those who do not ski can come enjoy the Cranapalooza activities."

Cranmore's new indoor Fun Zone will also be open extended hours during the vacation period in addition to its regular Saturday night hours. The Fun Zone will be open daily from Feb. 14-21. It gives families a fun indoor arena in which to play, with a giant bouncy house, 65-foot obstacle course, and pick up games of tennis, floor hockey and dodge ball.

Cranmore's complete schedule of events includes:

Feb. 7
Cranapalooza
A hypnosis show with Mike Hathaway will kick-off the night and Tom Dean will play music at the Eating House. Plus, night skiing, games and s'mores for the whole family.

Kiss 108 Games of Winter
Kiss 108FM radio crew will take over the Eating House with games, prizes, and music

Feb. 8
Race to Beat Cancer
Fulfill your need for speed and get your fundraising team together and participate in this event to support a very worthwhile cause.

Feb. 14
Cranapalooza
Fireworks light the skies, Bobo T. Clown entertains the kids and Dennis & Davey will keep the adults rockin' in the Eating House. FIREWORKS.

Jib Saw Massacre for Snowboarders 2
Terrain park competition with prizes and fun for all.

Feb. 15
Jib-Saw Massacre 2 for Skiers
Third and final in the series, this one for skiers, in the Darkside Terrain Park.

Feb. 16
Radio Disney Day
Disney will be here with music, games, singing, trivia, crafts, face painting, and free give-aways.

Feb. 18
Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge
The Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge Race Series is a free, fun race open to all ages and abilities.

Cranapalooza
