Smugglers' Notch Resort in northern Vermont, recently selected for the 10th year as North America's top resort for family programs by SKI Magazine readers, offers a value-laden package for skiers and snowboarders who visit during Winter 2008/2009. The Club Smugglers' Advantage Package includes lodging, lift tickets, instruction for all ages and abilities, and off-slope entertainment and programs for children and adults, plus additional money-saving deals.

The Club Smugglers' Advantage Package offers spacious condominium lodging in a fully-equipped mountainside home; daily lift tickets; daily ski and snowboard all-day camp for children ages 3-5; daily ski or snowboard lessons for children ages 6-17; daily learn-to-ski or learn-to-snowboard group lessons for adult beginners; the Winter Walking program; unlimited use of 34 km of cross-country trails and 24 km of snowshoe trails; unlimited use of the FunZone Family Entertainment Center, the pool and hot tubs and teen centers; and off slope activities such as snow tubing and nightly family and adult entertainment. Guests will also receive free lift tickets valid through December 19, 2009 to use at their convenience on a future visit.

Smugglers' three mountains encompass 1000 acres of terrain, with 78 trails that include learning areas for beginners and novice, intermediate and expert terrain. The Attitude glade, new this season on Madonna Mountain, gives experts additional play area in the trees.

Pricing, a guarantee and a flexible cancellation policy offer reassurance to dollar-conscious vacationers:
  • Super Saver value pricing starts at $115 per adult and $99 per youth ages 3-17.
  • Smugglers' guarantees that each guest will have fun, learn to ski or snowboard or will improve technique, no matter what his or her current level of ability - novice to expert - or the Resort will refund the entire lesson portion of that person's vacation package.
  • Smugglers' flexible cancellation policy means that deposits will be refunded on cancellations received seven days or more prior to a scheduled arrival. Within seven days, deposits will be applied to a future reservation.
Additional discounts are available to guests on the Club Smugglers' Advantage Package:
During December 12-20, 2008 and January 4-24, 2009, guests on the Club Smugglers' Advantage Package will receive 50 percent off childcare at Smugglers' million-dollar slopeside children's center, TREASURES. (Regular rate $85 per day per child.)

For Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend, guests who stay five nights or more on the Club Smugglers' Advantage Package arriving on January 16, 17, 18 or 19 will receive SuperSaver rates.

To celebrate Super Bowl weekend, arrivals between January 25 and February 1, 2009 will get the 7th night free when a 6-night package is booked. This includes a free big game football party on February 1, with a halftime snack buffet and viewing the Super Bowl on a 22 x 14-foot big screen.

Winter package information and online booking can be found at www.smuggs.com/winter/packages. The reservations and information phone number is 1-800-451-8752 (US and Canada).
