BROMLEY MOUNTAIN, Vermont -- There's nothing better than having a good time for a good cause, and that's just what you'll have on Sunday, October 5, when Bromley Mountain hosts the kick-off event of Warm Up Vermont's 2008 Challenge. This special fuel-assistance fundraiser will feature, among other things, rides and games, a Team Trivia contest hosted by Governor Douglas with a Grand Prize of $500 and live music by the one and only Don't Leave Band.
On October 5 the Sun Mountain Adventure Park will be open its normal hours, from 10:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. From 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., all proceeds from Adventure Pass sales will be donated to the BROC-Community Action in Southwestern Vermont and the Windham County Heat Fund. Visitors to the Adventure Park during that time will pay a discounted rate of $15 per person or $30 for families (up to five family members). Buy your passes online at warmupvermont.com before October 5 and pay just $10 per person or $25 per family, plus a small ticketing fee.
