FRANCONIA, New Hampshire -- Cannon Mountain announces a new option for college students for the 2008-09 season. Cannon is teaming up with Waterville Valley, Mount Washington Resort's Bretton Woods and Cranmore Mountain Resort for this exciting new pass. Formerly titled the Threedom College Pass, the "4-NH College Pass" will be available for sale on April 1st at an early season rate of $249.

"The Threedom College Pass has long been recognized as New England's best skiing and riding value for college students. Cannon is immensely popular with college students, and we look forward to providing even more terrain and variety to them by teaming up with these three other very popular resorts on the new 4-NH College Pass," states John DeVivo, General Manager at Cannon Mountain and Franconia Notch State Park.

The four ski areas are all located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and are within an hour of each other. This new college pass will feature access to 255 trails, 37 lifts, 1,061 acres and 13 terrain parks, and will be available at the special introductory rate through the end of May. Students must show a current student ID and proof of full-time enrollment with a letter from the registrar's office, or with a current college schedule printout. Students purchasing the new 4-NH College Pass will have unlimited use at the four areas during the remainder of the 2007/08 ski and snowboard season.

Cannon Mountain has 60 trails, 9 lifts, and terrain for all ability levels. Cannon has the longest vertical drop and the highest lift-served terrain in New Hampshire. With New Hampshire's only aerial tramway, Cannon is located directly off I-93 in Franconia Notch State Park. For more information on Cannon Mountain and all of its lift ticket options, visit www.cannonmt.com or call 603-823-8800.
