SCHENECTADY, New York --- Price Chopper has launched its popular "Ski Any 3" Passbooks. The Family Mountain Passbook ($109) includes 3 passes good for a full day adult lift ticket at the pass holders' choice of six New York and New England mountains: Gore Mountain (New York), Windham Mountain (New York), Jiminy Peak (Massachusetts), Belleayre (New York), Ski Sundown (Connecticut) or Mount Sunapee (New Hampshire). The Big Mountain Passbook ($129) includes 3 passes good for a full day adult lift ticket at any of four ski areas: Whiteface Mountain (New York), and Mt. Snow, Smugglers Notch or Okemo (all in Vermont).

Both passbooks include 2 "Weekday Tag-Along" passes good for $15 off an adult lift ticket for skiing or snowboarding for a friend when a Ski Any 3 pass is redeemed and discount coupons from Price Chopper and participating ski areas. The Passbooks will be sold in all Price Chopper markets in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Westfall Pennsylvania. They will only be available between November 11 and January 5, 2008.

"Our 'Ski Any 3' discount passbooks provide Price Chopper with a dynamic way to promote winter tourism and healthy outdoor activity while passing savings on to customers," said Mona Golub, Director of Public Relations and Consumer Services for Price Chopper. "Ski Any 3 passbooks make great holiday gifts, even skiers who have passes for other mountains tell us that they enjoy having a cost effective way to ski other areas with their "Ski Any 3" passes."

Based in Schenectady, NY, the Golub Corporation owns and operates 116 grocery stores in 6 states - New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire. The family-owned company, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, prides itself on longstanding traditions of innovative food merchandising, leadership in community service and cooperative associate relations.
