PINKHAM NOTCH, New Hampshire -- Wildcat Mountain, high up in Pinkham Notch, NH, located only one mile from the parking area for spring skiing mecca Tuckerman Ravine on Mt. Washington is pleased to announce that it will open for skiing and riding for one final weekend, Saturday and Sunday May 5th & 6th , 2007. Lift tickets are only $29 per person.

Wildcat Mountain has received six feet of new snow in the month of April, and still has top to bottom skiing, with up to fourteen trails. According to Tom Caughey, Wildcat's General Manager, "There is still a lot of skiing left out there, and the weather forecast for the weekend could not be any better -- so we hope there are still some folks out there who have not had enough snow yet. With plenty of sunshine in the forecast, this should be a great weekend to wrap it up for the winter and spring skiing season." Wildcat will be the only ski area operating in New Hampshire and Maine.

Up to date on information on snow conditions and operations information at Wildcat is on Wildcat's Snow Report page at www.skiwildcat.com or by calling 1-888 SKI WILD.

In the summer and fall seasons, Wildcat operates 4-person scenic gondola skyrides which transport passengers along the same lift line the high speed quad uses in winter. Gondola Skyrides are scheduled to open on Memorial Day Weekend, beginning May 26th.

Construction has also begun on the installation of a new 2,100 foot ZipRider cable zip-line ride, which is anticipated to open in the month of June and is intended to operate on a year-round basis.

Wildcat Mountain is a year-round, family-owned business, located on 100% National Forest land in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest in Pinkham Notch, NH. Wildcat is renowned for a long spring skiing and riding season, and celebrates its 50th year of continuous operations in 2007/08. Wildcat Mountain was rated #1 for Scenery in North America, and Top Ten in the East for Terrain, Challenge and Value (SKI Magazine, Oct. 2006).
